Sackville Leafs

Sackville Leafs set to battle rival Canadiens in the semis.

The Sackville Leafs are set to do battle in an all Sackville match-up against the Canadiens. The Leafs had the chance to take top spot in the standings but came up just short and will look to rebound Tuesday night against the Canadiens.

These two teams have battled hard all year with the last couple games being decided by one goal.

The team will be leaning on Rylan Bucchorn and Jodeci Scallion-Sutherby for their continued offense. Carter Geneau has also been on a tear lately getting at least a point in 7 of the last 8 games.

The defense which consists of William Moore, Isaiah Simpson, Connor Forsberg, Nate Cote, and Tristan Ferris will have to be as stout as the have been since the christmas break, and the leafs with need the continued aggression and puck prowess from the likes of Evan Spinney, Jameson Gisborne, and Caiden Henderson, and the massive net front pressence from the twin towers (Jaxson Malanczuk and Cohen Dodge).

Last but not least lets talk about goalies. Jacob Slaunwhite has become more and more comfortable in his crease as the year has progressed with his gameplay hitting a whole new level since the christmas break, Logan hollohan (the gentle giant) adds a nice calmness to the game of hockey and continues to make big saves along with his backstopping partner Jacob.

See you at the rink
